Austrian Foreign Minister: Russia’s complete economic isolation from Europe is impossible

Complete economic isolation of Moscow from European states is impossible – as stated by the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, TASS reports with reference to Der Standard

Mr. Schallenberg explained that it would be impossible to completely isolate Russia from Europe in economic terms, since it is ‘the largest neighbour’ of the European Union.

"There are persons in Europe who want complete separation from Russia. We must be careful about our wishes. It is a delusion to pretend that the country could be economically isolated like North Korea," he said.
