Armenia’s Economy Minister: Armenia has no plans to leave EAEU
Armenia has no plans to leave the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), said the country's Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, TASS reports
“We do not want to replace the EAEU with anything. We want to be independent; independence means you depend not on any given country, but on all of them, and all of them depend on you. We have to become a country where, if something happens to its economy, something also happens to other countries’ economies. If that is the case, nothing will happen to us,” he said at a news conference.
Mr. Papoyan also pointed out that Armenia should maintain, develop, and advance its relations with the EAEU, as well as strengthen its ties to other structures.
