Aleinik announced opening of Zimbabwe Embassy in Minsk
The Embassy of Zimbabwe is starting its official work in Belarus and this event fully reflects the achieved level of trust and friendship between the two countries – as stated by Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik after his talks with Zimbabwe’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Frederick Shava
“Obviously, the breakthrough agreements reached between the two countries’ presidents will enable us to bring our co-operation to a qualitatively new level,” said the Head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. “One of such agreements was the opening of the embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the Republic of Belarus. All the formalities related to the opening of the embassy have been completed, and today we can officially announce the start of its work.”
In turn, Frederick Shava thanked the Belarusian side for the assistance provided in issues related to the opening of the diplomatic mission of Zimbabwe, “We are grateful for the invaluable support in the process of implementing the idea of opening an embassy.”
