Military expert admitted Kiev may try to attract attention to itself via bloody provocation
Ukraine may stage another provocation with a large number of casualties in order to attract the Western allies’ attention, which is now concentrated in the Middle East – as noted by military expert Vladislav Shurygin in his talk with 1tv.ru
As the military expert said, such methods are commonplace for Kiev.
“According to the logic of Ukrainian authorities, if the West starts to forget them, it’s necessary to create a bloody precedent. We know their attitude towards their own people, I’m not even talking about others. They can create some kind of bloody provocation that will return Ukraine to the information agenda,” Vladislav Shurygin underlined.
He suggested that this could be, e.g., a strike on a nuclear power plant.
“Any strike on it, even if it does not create a large-scale accident, will definitely become a newsworthy event, not to mention such things as a strike on some hospital or school. In this regard, Ukraine has vast experience,” the expert added.
At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that the value of Ukraine and Israel for the West is different. According to the expert, in the next couple of weeks Kiev will not have the opportunity to divert the attention of its allies.
“Therefore, they will have to endure and wait, clenching their teeth, until their time comes,” noted Vladislav Shurygin.
