MP on what actions of the West can lead to nuclear catastrophe
Europe, under the direct leadership of the United States, is preparing for war against Russia and Belarus – as stated by Ruslan Kosygin, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Security of the House of Representatives of Belarus, during the Minsk-Moscow Union State live streaming
The MP stressed that everything that is happening now in the European region can provoke a new round of the arms race and lead to a nuclear catastrophe, “We cannot leave without an assessment the actions of our neighbours: Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia – as Belarus’ Head of State has repeatedly stated, including at the Belarusian People's Congress. Militarism is reigning there, and this military madness is off the scale – especially in Poland, which has actually turned into the Americans’ outpost to promote the US interests in the region, even to the detriment of its own. The increase in the military budget, the equipping of offensive weapons of the Polish armed forces, their statement on the creation of the most powerful army in Europe indicate that Poland is preparing for war against Russia and Belarus.”
Mr. Kosygin recalled that both Vladimir Putin and Aleksandr Lukashenko had repeatedly warned about the threat of a nuclear conflict, “This threat is already on the surface. We are talking about the stocks of tactical nuclear weapons that are located on the territory of neighbouring countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and Turkiye. Moreover, Brits have also actively joined this hysteria, saying that they will deploy nuclear weapons on their territory as well. Poles have also announced their readiness to deploy nuclear weapons.”
According to the MP, the statement of the NATO leadership should not be neglected: it clearly indicated that, taking into account (according to their assessment) the nuclear threat from Russia and China, they are forced to realise the task of putting strategic nuclear forces on alert.
“This is an alarming point,” Mr. Kosygin emphasised. “If we analyse the strategic documents that form the basis of the policy of Americans, Brits, Germans, French, Poles and Lithuanians, then we can see that they clearly indicate that the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus pose a threat to their national interests. However, it is unclear what interests are meant. Nevertheless, all their activities fit into this message: under the direct leadership of the United States, Europe is preparing for war against Russia and Belarus.”
Unfortunately, the situation in the south of Belarus is developing in this way. “Ukraine is an anti-Russian project, and the war unleashed by Americans is a continuation of a wild strategy, the goal of which is to weaken Russia. They do not care how many people in Ukraine would die. Ukraine, as such, has actually disappeared: it has all come under the US external control,” the MP stated.
