30 MAZ buses shipped to Vladivostok
Minsk Automobile Works (MAZ) company shipped 30 passenger buses to Russia’s Vladivostok city, MAZ media centre informed
According to Vladimir Dormash, MAZ Deputy General Director for passenger vehicle sales, the co-operation between MAZ and Russia’s Primorye Territory shows positive trends.
“Last year, we supplied 30 MAZ 257 school buses for the region, and now we are shipping another 30 vehicles of varying modifications,” he said.
The company said expanding their ties with the Russian Far East is also significant because that region borders China, so producers from Asia have a natural advantage there.
“Now that market is open for us,” the press centre emphasised.
Minsk Automobile Works, the Managing Company of BELAVTOMAZ Holding, is the flagship of Belarus’ automotive industry, specialising in the production of cargo, passenger, trailer, and special equipment.
