2025 declared year of development of UAVs and electronic warfare systems in Interior Ministry’s internal troops
The coming year has been declared the year of the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electronic warfare systems in the internal troops of Belarus’ Interior Ministry, sb.by reports citing the Telegram channel of the Interior Ministry’s internal troops
The department emphasised that an analysis of modern military conflicts shows that the means of conducting them have changed dramatically. The use of various types of UAVs, from reconnaissance to strike aircraft, as well as countering them, has come to the fore.
With this in mind, the internal troops are focusing on this area and have adapted their combat training programme to it. It is reported that the special purpose detachments have set up entire units for electronic warfare and UAV operators of all types, as well as providing independent training for these specialists.
