Zakharova said Ukraine using nuclear blackmail to get help from West
Apparently, Kiev is using nuclear blackmail to get more help from Western countries – as noted by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, RIA Novosti reports
She drew attention to the fact that representatives of the current Kiev regime position themselves as modern people who are oriented towards the future, yet they use unsightly methods. “It is very possible that nuclear blackmail is being used by the Kiev regime, among other things, to obtain more and more financial and military assistance from the West,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry suggested.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, addressing the Lowy Institute in Australia from Ukraine via live video link, said that the North Atlantic Alliance should launch ‘pre-emptive’ strikes against Russia, and not ‘wait for Russia’s nuclear strikes’. Later, the press secretary of the Ukrainian President, Serhiy Nikiforov, noted that Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not talking about the use of nuclear weapons, but about sanctions.
The press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov, commenting on Zelenskyy’s loud statement, stressed that such words are nothing more than a call to start a world war.
