Leaders of Belarus, Oman continued their communication
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko and Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said continued their communication in Muscat on the evening of December 15th, BelTA reports
In the morning, the heads of state held talks – initially in an expanded format with the participation of members of delegations, and then in a one-on-one format. They discussed the state and prospects for the development of relations, areas in which additional impetus can be given to bilateral co-operation. The leaders of Belarus and Oman also exchanged views on the current international agenda.
The negotiations were preceded by a colourful welcoming ceremony. It is noteworthy that, although the format of the Belarusian leader’s visit is working, the ceremony almost completely corresponded to the status of an official or state visit – which is a sign of special respect from the host party.
