Zakharova: Russia intends to work with Africa to weaken the US Dollar
Russia plans to work with African countries to weaken the US Dollar, since the US uses it as an instrument of influence – as stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, RIA Novosti reports
Maria Zakharova noted that Russia, together with African partners, expects to form a global non-discriminatory agenda and work on building new conditions for peaceful coexistence.
“We believe it is necessary to work towards the weakening of the US Dollar as a practically monopoly means of settlement and a reserve currency,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to her, the US is using the Dollar not only as a tool to fight for advantage, but also as ‘a means of realising its aggression’.
