Yakutia keen to purchase MAZ municipal equipment

A joint meeting of the working group on co-operation between Belarus and the Republic of Sakha (Russia) was held in Yakutia, chaired by Belarus’ Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar, sb.by reports with reference to the website of the Minsk Automobile Works (MAZ)

The meeting was attended by Andrei Chumak, the Deputy Head of the MAZ Passenger Vehicles Sales Department — Head of the MAZ Sales Department for Russia, as well as representatives of the enterprise’s dealer network: Belrus.

During the negotiations, the Russian side showed interest in MAZ municipal transport, particularly, garbage trucks. The parties also discussed the supply of spare parts for MAZ equipment already in operation in the region.
