The Belarusian diplomatic mission noted that Yakut enterprises are one of the largest customers of BelAZ. “Taking into account the inexhaustible resource base of the region, we expect to expand the volume and range of supplies of our mechanical engineering products. The Yakut people are also keen to expand the supplies of our equipment; we’ve agreed that for a high-quality organisation of the process, it is necessary to work out the establishment of a multi-brand service centre,” the embassy reported.

It is noted that the parties confirmed their interest in specific projects for the direct supply of Belarusian food and consumer goods, the exchange of IT experience, as well as sanatorium-resort rehabilitation of Yakutia residents. According to the embassy, the topic of patriotic tourist routes to Belarus, including places of military glory of the Yakut soldiers, was also touched upon.
