Wyborcza: US transferred about 700 combat vehicles to Poland, including Abrams tanks
The United States has deployed about 700 combat vehicles to Poland, including M1A2 Abrams tanks, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Polish Wyborcza publication
According to the publication, military equipment for the 1st Infantry Division of the American Army was unloaded in the port of the Polish city of Gdynia. As explained, the vehicles were sent to Poland as part of the Atlantic Resolve programme aimed at strengthening the US presence in European countries.
The source says that Bradley tanks, M113 armoured personnel carriers in several versions, other combat vehicles and trucks were also delivered to Poland.
"Within two weeks, the military hardware will be transported from the port by trains and trucks to military bases located in different places in Poland," the publication reads.
