WHO, Red Cross stopped supplying vital medicines to Donetsk and Lugansk

The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) no longer send aid to the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic, and this refers primarily to medicines, RIA Novosti reports

Doctors of local hospitals have informed on the real situation dealing with supplies. According to them, vital drugs for patients with diabetes, HIV and AIDS are no longer provided, and patients in need may soon be left without insulin.

As reported, requests for provision of drugs were sent to the WHO and the ICRC, and the reasons for the termination of supplies have not yet been announced.
