Vulin: Serbia will never join NATO

Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin said that the country will maintain its military neutrality and will not join NATO, TASS reports

According to Mr. Vulin, Serbia ‘would never join NATO, nor would it impose sanctions on the Russian Federation. “It would not allow anyone to use its territory for any anti-Russian undertakings,” the Serbian politician said.

Earlier in August, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic once again confirmed the commitment of his country to maintain its military-neutral status. In this regard, the Serbian leader pointed out that the Serbian Armed Forces are in the process of significant strengthening, which is due to the need to provide self-defence due to the refusal to join NATO.
