Volfovich: elections help determine how the country will develop over next five years
The State Secretary of the Security Council, Aleksandr Volfovich, has taken part today in early voting in the elections of deputies to the House of Representatives of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly and local councils of deputies of the twenty-ninth convocation
After voting, Mr. Volfovich commented, “Elections are a very important event in the history of probably any country, and Belarus is definitely no exception in this regard. I have chosen the right to early voting, like many citizens who are casting their votes for the future of our country. Today we are voting for independence, security, sustainable socio-economic development of the country, preservation and enhancement of traditional Belarusian values that our Constitution and the draft National Security Concept envisage. The elections help us determine how the country will develop and exist in the coming five years. When casting their votes, people understand that they need to choose the best of the best – the candidates who are able to achieve their goals. Our future depends on the sustainability and fulfilment of these tasks, so this is very important. I am sure that all citizens of Belarus will make a truly right and expedient choice, because our people appreciate the country’s modern achievements: independence, sovereignty and security.”
