The President of Belarus’ National Olympic Committee, Viktor Lukashenko, has congratulated sports industry representatives on their professional holiday: Physical Education and Sport Workers Day, sb.by reports with reference to the NOC Telegram channel

"This holiday is traditionally celebrated by athletes, coaches and everyone who is engaged in physical education and leads an active lifestyle. Belarus has long occupied a worthy place in the world sports community, is known for its victories and glorious traditions of high-performance sports and mass physical culture. We have created a strong base for professional and young athletes, as well as amateurs. I am sure that each of you worries of the sphere you have chosen. Thanks to the chosen path, many of you have found great friends, reliable colleagues and talented students,” Viktor Lukashenko said.

The NOC President expressed special gratitude to the veterans of the sports industry, “You have devoted your life to the sphere you love. In your youth, you glorified our country in the international arena, and now many of you are training future champions. I sincerely wish you good health, optimism, kindness and well-being! Let sport always be your source of energy and inspiration.”
