US can earn $100bn from arms sales in 2024 fiscal year
The income of the United States from sales of weapons by the end of the 2024 fiscal year may exceed $100bn, TASS reports
In a statement, the US Department of Defence reported, “"In the fiscal year 2024, which ended on September 30th, the sale of weapons abroad already amounted to more than $80bn, and by the end of the year it could exceed $100bn.”
It is noted that, in the last fiscal year, the United States earned $66.2bn from arms sales, and in 2022 – $49.7bn.
The Pentagon believes that the demand for American weapons in the world has increased after the country began supplying weapons to Ukraine in 2022.
