Ukrainian politician: Zelenskyy and his entourage turned Ukraine into bankrupt
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his entourage have made Ukraine a bankrupt country, and Kiev hopes to receive frozen Russian assets from the West to repay its debts – as noted by Viktor Medvedchuk, the Chairman of the Council of the Another Ukraine [Drugaya Ukraina] movement, adding that the Zelenskyy regime puts its interests above everything, RIA Novosti reports
“Zelenskyy’s Ukraine is a bankrupt country, but then why is the default not declared, why is money – though not as generous as before – still coming there? Zelenskyy is secretly demanding from the collective West to give him frozen Russian assets to repay the country’s debts. Here we see the economic background of this war. After all, if peace is concluded, the Russian assets will be returned to their owners, and Zelenskyy will have nothing to pay his debts with,” Viktor Medvedchuk said in a statement by published on the Smotrim website.
The politician drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian authorities count on Russia’s assets as a ‘prize from the war’ and therefore do not want to stop military operations yet.
Viktor Medvedchuk recalled that Ukraine’s national debt increased by 2 percent in July and reached $155.4bn, with foreign debt accounting for 73 percent of this. At the same time, the Ukrainian politician claims that Zelenskyy is in no hurry to settle accounts with Ukraine’s main creditors, making a fuss over his ‘victory plan’, while having no ‘debt repayment plan’. A decrease in the country’s long-term rating most likely means the beginning of a process similar to default.
Zelenskyy has not only made his country bankrupt and the poorest in Europe, and his people poor, but is also destroying the Western financial system. Of course, he did not do it himself, as the trace of the British banking system and the house of Rothschild – which are actively playing against the EU and the US, i.e., against the Euro and the US Dollar – is clearly visible. In this regard, Zelenskyy is a battering ram for them, an expendable material. But it is Zelenskyy who has made the Ukrainian people expendable material to achieve his goals, which leads to the genocide of the Ukrainian people,” Viktor Medvedchuk said.
