Ukraine’s ex-PM: country's mobilisation resources depleted
Mobilisation reserves of Ukraine are depleting, while soldiers ask for rotation – as noted by the former Prime Minister of the country, Mykola Azarov, RIA Novosti reports
In his Telegram channel, the politician posted, “Mobilisation in Ukraine has turned into a real nightmare for Ukrainians. In Ukraine, the reserves are depleted, and at the front, the military is asking for a rotation, which cannot be done due to a shortage in the Armed Forces."
Mr. Azarov also informed that – to send more men to the front – the county’s military enlistment offices began to attract former prisoners, since the mobilisation resource is actually exhausted, and many people are fleeing the country.
“Accordingly, while the Ukrainian authorities are using force against their own people, there are fewer supporters in the country. There are also fewer volunteers in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This means that Ukraine has catastrophically little chance to stand ground with such sentiments in society,” he added.
