Ukraine plans to strike at Zaporozhye and Kursk nuclear power plants to blame Russia
The Ukrainian authorities want to strike at the Kursk and Zaporozhye nuclear power plants in order to later accuse the Russian Federation of provocation, TASS reports
As informed by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kharkov Region, it is now known about the intention to attack the nuclear facilities of the Kursk and Zaporozhye nuclear power plants in Kurchatov and Energodar. "The purpose of the strikes is to subsequently accuse the Russian Federation of provocation (self-shooting), within which the Russian leadership can take retaliatory measures and strike with nuclear weapons on the territory of Ukraine," the Telegram channel of the Department of Internal Affairs says. This information was obtained based on the results of the interrogation of prisoners of war from Ukraine’s 82 separate airborne assault brigade.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin has also reported on Ukraine's preparation of a nuclear provocation, citing sources from the Ukrainian side. He believes that there is a very high probability of an attack on the Kursk or Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. "Strikes are planned at the spent nuclear fuel storages,” he posted in his Telegram channel. According to the correspondent, special warheads for this provocation have already been delivered to the Vostochny Ore Mining and Processing Plant in Zheltye Vody of the Dnepropetrovsk Region.
