UK authorities to launch deportation flights to Rwanda in 10-12 weeks

“The first flight to Rwanda will leave in 10 to 12 weeks. Now of course that is later than we wanted. But we have always been clear that proceedings will take time,” UK PM Rishi Sunak told a press conference.

He also blamed the delays on representatives of the opposition Labour Party in the House of Lords (upper house) of the British Parliament who have already amended the bill several times, returning it to the House of Commons (lower house) for consideration.
