Turkiye is preparing to implement a project to take fingerprints upon entry into the country, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Sabah newspaper

According to the source, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya also announced an important project for the future and said that fingerprints will be taken when entering Turkiye, as in the United States and the United Kingdom.

It is also reported that the identity cards of those who have received temporary protection status will be chipped. Therefore, it will be ‘impossible’ to forge these certificates.
