The Hill: attack on Crimea to turn into catastrophic failure for Kiev
Any decision to organise an attack on Crimea will have disastrous consequences for Kiev, The Hill reports
The publication asserts that a full-scale ground attack by Ukraine on Crimea is very risky, “It lacks enough helicopters and other amphibious means. Carrying out such operations may be associated with the risk of catastrophic failure.”
The Hill authors note that Kiev tried to attack objects in Crimea – in particular, it organised an explosion on the Crimean bridge and attacked Russian ships in Sevastopol. If the Armed Forces of Ukraine make an attempt to seize Crimea, this will lead to much more serious consequences for Kiev.
