According to the ANI Agency, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation has given permission to release a test system at the molecular diagnostics enterprise of the developer company in Vadodar, capable of producing 1 million sets of the IMD Monkey Detection RT-PCR system per year.

"The plant is fully ready to produce test system kits, the creation of which is a significant achievement within the framework of the Do in India initiative and progress in combating the public health emergency caused by Mpox,” Hariharan Subramanian, the Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers, commented.

The test system, which fully complies with Indian regulatory requirements and meets high international standards, performs the analysis within 40 minutes instead of the usual 1-2 hours.
