Szijjarto: EU is factory of lies
Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto called the EU a ‘factory of lies’ because of the obstruction of the peace initiative of Prime Minister Viktor Orban, support for the cessation of oil transit and accusations regarding migration policy, TASS reports
According to Mr. Szijjarto, neither the facts nor the traditional summer lull prevented the productivity of the ‘Brussels factory of lies’. “It is clear that constant failures also do not interfere with its work," he said.
"The Brussels factory of lies has for the first time attacked the Budapest peacekeeping mission after Viktor Orban's trips to Kiev, Moscow, Beijing and Florida… Brussels has also been unmasked on the issue of banning oil transit on the order of Ukrainians, as a result of which two EU member states, including ours, face serious risks in energy supplies. After two failures, Brussels has come up with another lie claiming that Hungary is letting Russian and Belarusian spies into the European Union. We have already clearly explained to representatives of the Baltic States why this is a blatant lie, but it seems that they do not care about the facts, and the same could be said about Manfred Weber [head of the European People's Party, the largest in the European Union],” the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade stated.
Mr. Szijjarto also accused the EPP head of ‘Hungrophobia’ and added that he is now waiting for another lie from the leadership of the EU, the Baltic States or Manfred Weber – which will be ‘the fourth one after they failed in the case of the third lie’.
