Syrian Minister of Social Affairs and Labour highly appreciated the initiative to rehabilitate Syrian children in Belarus
Belarus and Syria enjoy a high potential of bilateral relations – as noted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Syria, Yuri Sluka, and the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour of Syria, Louai Emad El-Din al-Munajjid

As reported by Belarus’ Foreign Ministry, the parties outlined the need for further development of co-operation through relevant ministries.
“Special attention was paid to the projects dealing with recreation and health improvement of Syrian children in the Republic of Belarus. Louai Emad El-Din al-Munajjid highly appreciated the Belarusian initiative to offer rehabilitation programmes for Syrian children in the republic and expressed readiness to develop interdepartmental co-operation,” the source said.
The diplomat also met with the Syrian children who will take part in the Belarusian-Syrian From Heart to Heart shift at the national children's education and recreation centre Zubrenok on May 19th-31st, 2023. Seventy-five boys and girls are expected to recuperate.
