State Secretary of Security Council: Belarus’ forces and means ready to stop any risks and threats
The forces and means of Belarus’ national security system are ready to perform any tasks, to prevent any risks and threats – as stressed by the State Secretary of the Security Council, Aleksandr Volfovich, at the command and staff exercises of the Interior Ministry, the Telegram channel of the police department reports
Following the President’s order, command and staff exercises have been launched today in Belarus (to run until November 22nd) with the participation of subjects of the state response system. They are supervised by the State Secretariat of the Security Council and led by Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov.
The State Secretary of the Security Council, Aleksandr Volfovich, is also among the participants. He noted, “Following the instructions of the Head of State, the Interior Ministry has begun conducting command and staff exercises aimed primarily to check the readiness and ability of all subjects of the national security system, as well as other authorised state bodies, to perform tasks in accordance with their purpose.”
Mr. Volfovich added that, during the exercises, the movement of military equipment and equipped personnel will be carried out on public roads.
“This should not arouse concern: the event is exclusively planned, aimed at checking the ability and readiness of forces and means included in the state system of responding to acts of terrorism to fulfil their tasks. Moreover, the analysis of the situation around our country indicates an increase in trends related to the aggravation of the socio-political situation. Our opponents, primarily abroad, cannot calm down and continue to use all levers and opportunities to try to shake up the situation again. I am sure that our forces and means are ready to perform any tasks, to stop any risks and threats – doing this competently and professionally, so that to ensure stability, security and peace in our land," the State Secretary of the Security Council stressed.
