State Flag, Emblem and Anthem Day to be celebrated in Belarus

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has signed Decree No. 105 on April 12th, which amends Decree No. 157 of March 26th, 1998, On National Holidays, Public Holidays and Commemorative Dates in the Republic of Belarus – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

The name of the state holiday has been changed from The Day of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus – the second Sunday of May to The Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus – the second Sunday of May.

The new name will allow paying tribute to all three state symbols of Belarus.
