State Duma Speaker: Zelenskyy deprived Ukrainians of their future
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy deprived his citizens of the future and drove the country into debt bondage – as stated by the Russian State Duma Speaker, Vyacheslav Volodin, RIA Novosti reports
“Kiev spends today more than half of its income on debt servicing: 57.9 percent. Therefore, it has to take out new loans. Ukraine is a bankrupt state, but the Kiev regime is trying to hush it up. Meanwhile, the problem is obvious: Zelenskyy has deprived the citizens of Ukraine of their future, driving the country into debt bondage,” the Russian politician posted in his Telegram channel.
Mr. Volodin also stressed that the coup of 2014 led Ukraine to a complete loss of sovereignty. The country’s budget is formed by almost 40 percent at the expense of foreign loans.
"Next year, foreign financing will amount to 58 percent. Ukraine is not able to independently ensure spending obligations to citizens: salaries and allowances, pensions, and other social issues. The situation is getting worse," he noted.
