State Border Committee on how many foreigners visited Belarus over three months of extended visa-free regime

Over three months of the extended visa-free regime, around 9,000 citizens of thirty-five European states have visited Belarus, sb.by reports with reference to the State Border Committee

According to the source, the new entry procedure is most popular among tourists from Germany and Estonia: 3,777 and 1,657 people arrived in Belarus from these countries, respectively. The top five states whose citizens actively visit Belarus on a visa-free basis also include Italy (574), France (314), and the United Kingdom (303).

As noted by the State Border Committee, the visa-free regime is also popular among the EU states that border Belarus: since the beginning of the year, 66,493 foreigners have arrived in the republic from Latvia, 74,049 from Lithuania, and 34,691 from Poland.

In total, 984,771 European residents have visited Belarus since April 15th, 2022.
