State Border Committee: German citizens visited Belarus more often than others since introduction of extended visa-free regime

About 900 foreigners from 35 European countries that are on the extended visa-free regime list visited Belarus over the past week, and the number reached 2,650 since July 19^th, 2024, sb.by reports with reference to the State Border Committee

The new entry procedure was most popular among citizens of Germany and Estonia: 38 and 21 percent of the total number of arrivals, respectively.

“Since the beginning of the year, 140,268 residents of neighbouring EU countries have used the visa-free opportunity: 52,657 Latvians, 58,454 Lithuanians, and 29,157 Poles. In total, 943,524 foreigners have visited Belarus since April 15th, 2022,” the source reported.
