State Border Committee: almost 950,000 foreigners used Belarus' visa-free regime
Since the launch of the Belarusian visa-free regime (April 15th, 2022), 948,948 foreigners have visited the republic, sb.by reports with reference to the State Border Committee
Over the past months, 145,007 residents of the neighbouring EU countries have visited Belarus without visas: 54,829 Latvians, 60,329 Lithuanians, and 29,849 Poles.
“After the introduction of the extended visa-free regime, since July 19th, 2024, more than 3,300 foreigners from 35 European countries have visited Belarus. Germans still prevail among those coming: they account for 38 percent of the total number. Estonia and Italy are also among the top three states whose citizens visited Belarus more often than others,” the State Border Committee reported.
