State Border Committee: about 100,000+ EU residents visited Belarus without visas since early 2024

Since the beginning of the year, 98,478 foreigners from the European Union have used the Belarusian visa-free regime to visit the republic, sb.by reports with reference to the State Border Committee

According to the source, 44,658 Lithuanian citizens, 25,024 citizens and 7,248 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 21,548 Polish citizens have visited Belarus without visas since January 1^st, 2024.

In total, 899,084 foreigners from the neighbouring EU countries have travelled to Belarus since the launch of the visa-free regime: 539,869 citizens of Lithuania, 209,825 citizens and 63,263 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 86,027 citizens of Poland.
