State Border Committee: about 100,000+ EU residents visited Belarus without visas since early 2024

Since the beginning of the year, 98,478 foreigners from the European Union have used the Belarusian visa-free regime to visit the republic, sb.by reports with reference to the State Border Committee

According to the source, 44,658 Lithuanian citizens, 25,024 citizens and 7,248 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 21,548 Polish citizens have visited Belarus without visas since January 1st, 2024.

In total, 899,084 foreigners from the neighbouring EU countries have travelled to Belarus since the launch of the visa-free regime: 539,869 citizens of Lithuania, 209,825 citizens and 63,263 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 86,027 citizens of Poland.
