Sozhski Karagod International Festival of Choreographic Art to gather 1,300 dancers
The 11th International Festival of Choreographic Art, Sozhski Karagod, is held in Gomel on September 13th-15th, and its opening ceremony alone will bring together six hundred dancers tonight

The Sozhski Karagod festival was born in 1997 and immediately became a bright cultural event in Belarus. Over the years of its existence, it has welcomed guests from more than two dozen countries. With the Culture Ministry, Gomel regional and city executive committees as its founders and organisers, the festival is among the most prestigious events in the art world today, it is a genuine holiday of dancing and a cultural brand of the region.
In 2024, the atmosphere of friendship, peace and dance will unite all lovers of choreography from near and far abroad for the eleventh time. About 1,300 dancers from Belarus, Russia, China, Georgia, India and Sri Lanka will take part in the festival.
