Snopkov: our President’s visit gave impetus to intensifying co-operation with China

Belarus’ First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov has held a meeting with the Secretary of the Xi’an Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Fang Hongwei, at the Council of Ministers

Welcoming the guest, Nikolai Snopkov especially noted that leaders of such a high level began to often visit Belarus after the state visit of the President of our country, which took place in March 2023.

“This, of course, is the main political event of this year, which gave impetus to our face-to-face meetings,” he underlined.

In addition, Nikolay Snopkov stated with satisfaction that following the end of difficult times associated with overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic – which the parties endured together and with dignity – the long-awaited moment has come when, finally, restrictions have been lifted and it is possible to interact face-to-face for effective co-operation and implementation of tasks set to the governments by the countries’ leaders.
