Silent Hill 2 remake to be twice as long as original version
GameSpot posted an almost half-hour gameplay video of the Silent Hill 2 remake, and the first minutes of the game are available, the channel devoted to computer games reports
In search of his wife, the primary player James Sunderland arrives in Silent Hill and tries to figure out what is going on there. He even meets with Pyramid Head.
The project’s creative director, Mateusz Lenart, has recently posted on social networks that the remake of Silent Hill 2 will require at least 20 hours to study the content, and this timing does not include the search for secrets, which will have to spend a little more time.
It is also noted that more than six versions of the ending are expected. That is, it will take much longer to see all the scenes. However, this does not mean that a player will need to replay the game to see other finals.
The original Silent Hill 2 game, released in 2001, was shorter: its main storyline could be completed in just eight hours.
