Shpilevskaya: women help unite businesses and countries
More than fifty active and businesswomen from different regions of Belarus and Russia have gathered at the international business conference of the Resources and Opportunities project – Informal Education of Women Entrepreneurs – to discuss legislative innovations aimed to develop business activity – while sharing experiences in the implementation of their successful projects and the role of women in business
Welcoming the participants of the conference, Olga Shpilevskaya, the Chairperson of the Belarusian Women’s Union and Director of the Mir TV and Radio Company representative office in Belarus, underlined, “I’m happy to be at the Vitebsk site, uniting women entrepreneurs, for the second time. Although I have nothing to do with business myself, the Belarusian Women’s Union has gathered our wonderful business unit under its wing. I treat each of them with deep respect. Women in business are able to make decisions and take responsibility, and these are important qualities for any person. Entrepreneurs have proven both their viability and effectiveness. And your experience becomes the basis for the development of legislative acts. That’s how it should be. I’m glad that our Russian colleagues are with us today, suggesting that the integration processes that are taking place on the territory of our countries unite women, but also – thanks to women – unite all our businesses and countries in general.”
