Shoigu announced AFU plans to strike at Crimea with HIMARS and Storm Shadow missiles
The Armed Forces of Ukraine intend to strike at Crimea with HIMARS and Storm Shadow missiles – as stated by Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, TASS reports
“According to our information, the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plans to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation, including Crimea, with HIMARS and Storm Shadow missiles,” commented the head of the Russian defence department.
He noted that the use of these missiles outside the zone of a special military operation would trigger immediate strikes on decision-making centres in Ukraine and would imply the full-fledged involvement of the US and UK in the conflict.
Moreover, Sergei Shoigu said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to try to attack in the Yuzhno-Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will use elite units trained by NATO specialists, as well as a large number of Western weapons.
