Shoigu: AFU losses exceeded 66,000 people since start of counteroffensive
Since the start of the so-called counteroffensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost over 66 thousand people and 7.6 thousand weapons, but Kiev is trying to hide its failure by attacking civilian objects – as stated by Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, TASS reports
"Since the beginning of the so-called offensive, enemy losses have exceeded 66 thousand people and 7.6 thousand weapons," Mr. Shoigu said at a thematic videoconference meeting with the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
According to the Defence Minister, the competent actions of Russian combat crews made it possible to shoot down 159 HIMARS rockets, more than a thousand drones and 13 cruise missiles in a month. "Trying to hide the failure of the offensive, Ukrainian militants are attacking civilian targets and passing off these terrorist attacks as military victories," Mr. Shoigu stressed.
