Shagoiko: Belarus produces high-quality goods that are sought after and successfully sold all over the world
Belarusian products continue to win the trust of buyers all over the world, Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Vadim Shagoiko pointed out in his talk with STV TV channel
“I would like to note that Belarus’ agro-industrial complex has been growing every year. And we never stop there. We’re introducing innovations both in agriculture and in the processing industry. And there are results. The main one is to fully ensure our country’s food security and increase export potential,” Mr. Shagoiko noted. “Every year the export figures are growing, and the geography of products supplied is expanding. We realise that we produce high-quality goods that are sought after and sold successfully worldwide.”
According to the official, the tasks for the next year are no less ambitious and increasing exports is a systematic effort.
“A lot has already been done this year. Processing enterprises are being modernised to increase production of packaged products, which have higher margins and, accordingly, higher value on the market. Together with the growth of raw materials in agriculture and an increase in the number of products with deeper processing, this will enable us to increase our exports,” the Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister added.
