Sergeyenko: June 22nd is not just symbol for our history, it’s a real pain

June 22nd, 1941 will forever remain in the memory of the entire Soviet people and in the memory of our country – as stated today by Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko

“This day is a day of remembrance and mourning, and this understanding must be passed on from generation to generation. It’s necessary to talk about those tragic years, about the feat of the people, about the victims that were incurred during the years of that terrible war to avoid repeating such mistakes in the future. For me and for all Belarusians, this date is not just a symbol, it is a real pain for those events.”
