Sergeyenko elected First Deputy Chairman of Parliamentary Assembly of Union State of Belarus and Russia
Igor Sergeyenko has been elected First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia at today’s 66th session of the Parliamentary Assembly
Upon the proposal of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic was proposed for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, and the parliamentarians unanimously supported his candidacy. Upon the proposal of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Vadim Ipatov was proposed for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. His candidacy was also unanimously supported by the Parliamentary Assembly deputies.
The agenda of today’s meeting included consideration of the draft Decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State On Amendments and Additions to the Decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State On the Union State Budget for 2023 and approval of the report of the Council of Ministers of the Union State on the execution of the Union State budget for 2023.
Organisational issues have been also considered by the meeting participants since new delegates of Belarus’ National Assembly joined the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
