Sergeyenko arrived in Tehran to attend inauguration of Iran’s new president
Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus of the eighth convocation Igor Sergeyenko has arrived in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The visit is taking place on behalf of the Head of State.
The Chairman of the House of Representatives will take part in the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian. The Belarusian parliamentary delegation also includes Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives Sergei Rachkov.
The guests were welcomed at Mehrabad International Airport by Dmitry Koltsov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran, embassy staff and representatives of the Islamic Council of Iran.
During the visit, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the eighth convocation of Belarus’ National Assembly Igor Sergeyenko will hold a number of bilateral meetings with senior Iranian officials.
