Scholarships of Belarus’ President for 2024 bestowed upon 62 graduate students
Scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2024 have been awarded to sixty-two graduate students who are engaged into the research in priority areas of scientific, sci-tech and innovative activities in educational institutions and scientific organisations. As reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service, the corresponding decree was signed on January 16th by Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Scientific research and development of scholarship holders in the field of technical, physico-mathematical, chemical, medical, agricultural, economic, pedagogical sciences, art history and sports are conducted on currently central and in-demand topics for the relevant industries.
The results of the work have been introduced into the educational process, practical activities of industrial, medical and agricultural organisations, presented at national and international conferences, and published in scientific publications.
The Presidential decree was adopted in order to support the scientific developments of graduate students, stimulate the training of highly qualified scientists, develop domestic scientific schools, and attract talented young people to science.
