Safronov: I consider Lukashenko one of the best global leaders
Famous Russian artist Nikas Safronov shared his attitude to the President of Belarus during his talk with Belarus 1 TV channel
“I have great respect for Aleksandr Lukashenko and consider him one of the best leaders in the world. He is a professional. He knows the unique features of his country and what is really happening in the world," the artist said.
Nikas Safronov painted a portrait of the President of Belarus several times. Sharing his opinion on whether the Head of State was satisfied with his work, the master noted, “I think Aleksandr Lukashenko was pleased. He is well disposed to me and whenever he cannot attend the opening of my exhibitions, he sends me a message of respect.”
Nikas Safronov – a Soviet and Russian artist – was born on April 8th, 1956, in Ulyanovsk. He graduated from Rostov’s M.B. Grekov Art College, specialising in painting.
Among his paintings there are many portraits, but the master also works in other genres. Nikas Safronov calls his author's style Dream Vision. His works are kept at the Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin State Museum, the Hermitage, and others.
