Ryzhenkov presented Marina Vasilevskaya with 100 Years of Diplomatic Service of Belarus Medal

Opening an exhibition of works by the Belarusian artist Sergei Krishtapovich, the Director of the National Centre for Contemporary Arts, Belarus’ Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov awarded the first Belarusian cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya 100 Years of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Belarus Medal

Hero of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya, in turn, handed over to the Foreign Ministry the flag of our country, which had been in space, and the emblem of her crew.

“The path was very difficult, but, thank God, everything worked out, and the space is ours. This is our common victory,” Marina Vasilevskaya said.
