Rybakov: Guterres has great respect for Belarus’ President
It takes a lot of time to bring information to the international community about the unacceptable damage and losses that not only Belarus, but also other countries of the world, primarily the countries of the so-called Great South, bear due to illegal unilateral sanctions – as stated by Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the UN Valentin Rybakov during his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel
The Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN drew attention to the fact that the UN cannot lift sanctions, since these are not UN sanctions, but sanctions of certain states, “I received feedback after the meeting between the President of Belarus and the UN Secretary General. I can only confirm that Antonio Guterres has great respect for Aleksandr Lukashenko. He has personally told me about this many times. I meet with him periodically, but I can say that there is no need to do this very often. He constantly sends greetings to the Head of State. Despite the current economic situation, Guterres is ready to hold meetings and discuss issues of interest to both Belarus and the United Nations, particularly the interaction between Belarus and the UN.”
