Russian President’s Aide: we see how valuable our allied relations with Belarus are
Relations with Belarus are particularly valuable and important in modern times – as stated by the Aide to the President of Russia, Yuri Ushakov, at the Primakov Readings forum in Moscow
Mr. Ushakov recalled the signing of the Treaty on the Union of Belarus and Russia in April 1997. According to him, it is a historical document.
The politician stressed the special value of relations between Belarus and Russia at the present stage, “In the context of the Ukrainian conflict and the hybrid war on the part of the West, we see how valuable and important the allied relations with Belarus are. They are now personified by the friendly interaction of the two states’ leaders: Vladimir Putin and Aleksandr Lukashenko.”
