Russian FM: under pretext of Ukrainian issue, US can ignite new conflict
The mass production of weapons supplied to Ukraine is putting the US economy on a war footing, and the difficulty of returning to peaceful life, as well as high spending force the American military-industrial complex to foment new conflicts – as stated by the Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, TASS reports
The Russian diplomat noted ‘the explosive growth in the income of the American military-industrial complex’ at a conference, adding that ‘the path of total militarisation of the economy is ultimately a dead end’, since the transition ‘to peaceful tracks is often very costly’.
"Under these conditions, the American military-industrial complex and businesses centred round it will inevitably resort to a time-tested method: they will simply try to ignite a new armed conflict under any pretext," Ms. Zakharova stressed.
